*Reminding you that even in the small, everyday tasks, God is present.

From “To-Do” list —> to “What I did today” Journal

As moms, our to do lists can feel endless, a much as we want to stay organized it seems like day to day we never finish the tasks we give ourselves. I’ve made a small mindset shift that’s made a big difference—I’ve started keeping a “What I did today” journal instead of the never-ending to do list. At the end of each day I jot down everything I actually accomplished, from loads of laundry to reading with and playing with my baby. This has helped me stay grounded, grateful, and productive. My best friend’s mom once told me when I was a newlywed no one knows what tasks you gave yourself for the day but they see the way you show up and love your family so focus on providing a loving household rather than making sure your to do list is done. This shift in mindset has allowed me celebrate what God gave me the strength to do today rather than focusing on on what was left undone.

This week, I invite you to give yourself grace — to plan with purpose, reflect with gratitude, and trust that God is guiding you through every little task even when you don’t mark it off as done for the day. Use the interactive grocery list builder to bring order to your week and the journal to remind yourself just how much you’ve accomplished. You’re doing more than enough, mama and God sees every bit of it.
